COWBOY BAND.

FIRST APPEARANCE IN GREYMOUTH. In tho past Greymouth has not bad the pleasure of dancing to the music of a really first-class Jazz Band, in the generally accepted sense of the word. Last evening, however, this want was rectified when the Cowboy Band, under the manageinert of Mr John Harpe'*, made their initial appearance to the Greymouth public. The one hundred couples who were in attendance were unanimous in the opinion that never before has dame music been regaled as that of the Cowboy Band. During the course of the evening an exhibition of the “Varsity Drag” was given by Miss Fry and Mr Holder. The Cowboy Band will visit Kumara to-night, when the prices will be gentlemen 5/-, ladies 3/-,
