Tho weather was ihuggy and threatening, but the wicket was good, for the resumption of the England versus Victoria cricket, match yesterday. Woodfu 11 was u n well, and Ryd e r had charge of the Victorian team. Hendren and White resumed England’s innings with 248 on for three wickets. Hendren made free Avith the bowling, and he scored 100 runs. He hit twelve runs off one over by Ebeling. Fifty runs Avere added in 35 minutes. White was stolid, and he lasted 68 minutes for an addition of 16 to his score. He hit one four. Ironmonger secured two Avicket-, those of White and Leyland, with successive balls. HENDREN’S 100th CENTURY. Hendren made his hundredth century in first-class' cricket. Then he avus smartly thrown out from cover by Scaife.
