An alarming growth of Communist intrigue in India has led the Government to frame a bill to provide pow ers fir the deportation of Red agents. Tho Government state that evidence is forthcoming of subversive activities of the Communist International against India. The’ policy : s to rouse a spirit of discontent and lawlessness among the masses with the object of destroying the Government and oi substituting a dictatorship of the proletariat. The Bill gives the power to deport Red agents who are not British subjects or are the subjects nf Indian states.
