MINISTER ’ S RESIGNATION. SUVA, August 25. The Rev Mr Macdonald denies the truth of the report of the withdrawal of his resignation, which was supplied to the press by Mr Andrews. President of the Methodist Mission to Fiji. He says that the President requested that he should remain in office till the end of the ministerial year in March, 1929| To this, the Rev Mr Macdonald consented, but he says: “The withdrawal of my resignation could not possibly be considered by me until the report o f the Commission is made known.”
