Dr Kidsun’s evening weather re port Ts as follows:—There is a de pression now centred south east of the Chatham Islands. There is an anti cyclone oxer South Tasman sea, and it is extending over the South Island. The forecast is as follows:— The winds will mainly be south west to south e Bst, and later backing to easterly, there being moderate to strong at first, but decreasing. The seas "wi l be rather rough in Cook Strait and south of Castle Point. Elsewhere there will be moderate south west to south east winds, and moderate seas in the eastern half of the Tasman Sea. There will be isolated light showers on the Coast, south from East Cape, and in north Auckland, but mainly fair to fine, with cold night temperatures.
