A FINE SOUVENIR CALENDER. Westport in common with the majority of the other towns in New Zealand is keenly interested in the forthcoming AH Blacks. This tour will virtually de cide the Rugby supremacy of the world, tour, this year, of South Africa by the and one and all hope that Ihe Dominion’s representatives will pursue the victorious path that the 1924 All Blacks did in England. It is natural that with so much interest being taken mementoes of the team are in great demand, especially photos of the stalwarts who are to uphold the Rugby name of New Zealand. With this in view a number of Westport business people have had printed a Souvenir Calender of the “All Blacks.” 1928. The printing of the calender was entrusted .o the Grey River Argus Coy, who have turned out a very er ditable ai'd tasty piece of workmanship, and can compare favourably with the numerous olncr souvenirs printed in the larger towns of New Zealand. Most conspicuous, of course, are the photos of the team, which occupy the centre of the enlom.tr. The likenesses are excellent, and very appropriately are framed in a football, a unique design for this species of work. Underneath are the names of the players, together with, their age, height, weight and province or unions they represent. At the top Ihe itenerary of the tour is given with space for the result of the match, and ike points scored for and against.
