LEAGUE FOOTBALL.

CLUBS’ ANNUAL MEETING. At a- well-attended meeting, Runanga Club elected officers as follows: President, Mr S. Thomas; Secretary, Air R. Buggan; Selectors, F. O’Neill and L. Hunter; Delegates for Seniors, T. Thomas and T. Freeman, for Juniors. Messrs Smith and Warwick; Serial Committee, A. Haughton, R. Duggan, A. Smith and J. Griffiths. Messrs J. Tsherwood and J. blasters received trophies for being the most improved player ami most improved junior player respectively last year. BLACKBALL CLUB. The annual general meeting of the above Club was held on March 25th in the Druids' Hall, Mr A. MvLus kie presiding over a large and enthusiastic attendance. The minutes of Hie previous meeting were read and <"»nfirmed. The report and balance shed were adopted, the latter bring the brst credit balance in the history of Hie Club. The Chairman made reference to the past season’s working, ami tliankc.l the various officials and sup I porters for the support given to the I Club. The following officers were elected: President, Mrs H. J. Campbell; Patron, Dr Ray; Chairman, M' 1 AMeLuskie; lion. Sees.. Messis L. Kill sella and E. Hogg; Treasurer. Mr J. Haisly, Junr.; Coavli, Mr W. Kirk; Delegates to Centre, Mr E. Kiely and Mr C. Fraser. At a. later ineeCng there were about forty present. Mr A. MeLuskie was in the chair.
