MOTHER AND CHILDREN KILLED SPDNEY, March 22. A motcf- lorry containing a family named Ludmore, returning from the Merriwa Shof to Muswcll Brook, capsized. Mrs Ludmore and her nineteen months old baby, and son, aged six. were killed. The husband, who was driving, and two daughters, were slightly injured. _ The National Council of the United Mine Workers, at their half-yearly meeting, held on Monday last, passed a resolution protesting against the Government’s policy of importing coal that can be produced in New Zealand.
