JUSTICES’ ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE. AUCKLAND, March 21. The second annual conference of the Federation of the New Zealand Justices’ Association has opened in .the Town Hall, twenty-five delegates from all parts of the Dominion being present. The President, Mr H. Herbert Smith, of Christchurch, presided. The visiting delegates were wel corned by the Mayor of Auckland, Mr George Bo uh I on. The election of officers resulted:— President, Mr A. J. Stratford (Auckland); Vice-President, Mr H. Trumble (Taranaki); Hon. Registrar and Treasurer, Mr I. Salek (Wellington); Hon. Auditpr, Mr J. P. Gray (Wellington); lion. Solicitors, Messrs Salek, Turner, and Brown (Wellington).
