MAKURA CLUB’S DOUBLES FINAL.

The final in the doubles championship was played on Friday between Mcsdames Tennent and Saywell. and Mesdames Legg and Hannan, when the first-named were the victors, after a vry interesting game. These two players have done very well, as they have gone right through the competition without being beaten, and are to be congratulated on their success. The following is the draw for the first life of the singles championship:— Mrs Coburn plays Mrs Thomas, Mrs Mercer plays Mrs Legg. Mrs Reynolds plays Mrs Topliss, Mrs Scott plays Mrs Saywell, Mrs Tennent plays Mrs Fogarty, Mrs Hannan plays Miss Sheedy, Mi’s Whibley plays Mrs Hambleton, Mrs Johnston plays Mrs Smith. Second Life: —Mrs Reynolds plays Mrs Johnston, Mrs Legg plays Mrs Coburn, Mrs Scott plays Mrs Hannan, Mrs Smith plays Mrs Whibley, Mrs Fogarty plays Miss Sheedy, Mrs Topliss plays Mrs Mercer, Mrs Tennent plays Mrs Thomas, Mrs Saywell plays Mrs Hambleton.
