ENERGETIC NONAGENARIAN. COATLESS IN SNOWY WEATHER. — Only one of 320 octogenarian guests entertained recently by Sir Henry Randall, the Northampton shoe manufacturer. had to he wheeled in a bath chair. No fewer than 777 out of 90.000 people in Northampton were entitled to accept a similar invitation extended to nonagenerians. One of them, Mr William Pilgrim, strode in without an overcoat, although snow lay on th? ground. Sir Henry, himself a nonagenarian, said the secret of his fitness was that he was keeping a young heart, did plenty of hard work, cultivated a sens? of humour, totally abstained from liquor, and did not smoke.
