WARATAHS DEFEATED.
BY SOUTH WEST FRANCE. ' PARIS, January 12. South West France defeated the Waratahs by 19 to 10. The Waratahs were beaten in a last keen game, in which the French men’s dash and speed, particularly the back division, kept the Waratahs' on tenterhooks I'rom the start. The Frenchmen overcame the handicap of losing rhe scrums by good combined work, in which A. Behotiguy Was most prominent. The line was always in danger when he had possession.
