INCOME TAX FRAUD.

OFFENDERS FINED £lOOO. MELBOURNE, January 13. As an outcome of the raid on the Small Arms Company on August, 1927. Wililam Bartlett, Secretary of Abrahams Brothers, Fanny Coker, Miriam Hyams, Esther Lyons, Louis Hyams, Phillip Hyams and Harry Hyams were fined amounts totalling £lOOO, with total costs £2lO. The charges to which all pleaded guilty were of making false income tax returns.
