RADIO-CABLE DISPUTE.

DELEGATES FOR CONFERENCE. LONDON, January 10. Delegates to the Wireless and Cables Conference, on January 16 will be:- - Britain, Sir W. Mitchell Thompson; Australia, Mr Clive and Mr Baillieu; New Zealand, Sir J. Parr; Canada, Mr Campbell Stuart; South Africa, Postmaster General Linton. It is understood that at the Pacific Board meeting this afternoon, Canada frankly criticised again the Board’s policy of duplicating the cable, in face of Canada’s protest, and experts’ advice that it was better to wait till the result of the wireless competition was seen. It was pointed out that the heavy outlay on duplicating seriously affected the Board’s prospects.
