DAFFODIL SHOW.

ST JOHN’S DISPLAY. The annual St John’s Daffodil Show was held in the Schoolroom, Guinness Street, yesterday afternoon, as in former years being an exceptionally tine one, the judge, Mr F. Kendrick, complimenting exhibitors on their blooms. The decorative class was judged by Miss Kyle, and the cookery section by Mr P. Blanchlield. The various stalls were well patronised throughout the day, while the juvenile element was well catered for with a lucky dip. The results were as follow, the number of entries being shown in parentheses:— DAFFODILS. Best 12 varieties (one of each/; first prize Rose Bowl, presented by Mr A. B. Spiers, to be won outright three years in succession or live times at intervale (2): Mrs Unwin 1, Mrs Bush h.c. The Rose Bawl was also won last vear by Mrs Unwin.
