FANCY DRESS BALL.

CHILDREN’S CARNIVAL. The Children’s Fancy Dress Ball inaugurated by the Greymouth Municipal Band, held last evening, proved an unqualified success, the Band Room being packed with youthful dancers. The Judge, Mrs G. ScLaef, awarded prizes as follows: —Norman Jones (Kewpie), Joan Harvey (Dewdrop), Kathleen Coakley (Black Bird;, Don Millei (Brown Elf). Eyes”; and By Willis, “Barefoot Days.” A dainty supper, served by the General Social Committee, contributed in no small measure to the little ones’ enjoyment.
