MELBOURNE CUP SENSATION. SYDNEY, September 1. A sensation was caused in racing circles, when Royal Feast, the favourite for the Melbourne Cup, was scratched to-day. He met with a slight accident, while running at the Williamstown Races on Saturday, and, on the advice of veterintßary burgeons, he will be immediately gelded.
