BOXING.
EROADFOOT BEATS McKNIGHT HAMILTON, August 30. In a professional boxing contest here last evening, Jim Broadfoot, of Waihi (list Hlb), beat Nelson AleKnight, of Hamilton (lOst 71b), on points at the end of 10 rounds. Broadfoot. proved the more aggressive, his persistent fighting tactics being too much for McKnight, although the lat ter boxed stoutly. McKnight left todav for America.
