N.S.W. TEAM IN ENGLAND. LONDON, August 31. The Waratah Rugby footballers arrived at Plymouth, and were officially welcomed by Admiral Boyds and members of the International Rugby Board, representing England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. Admiral Royds said they were looki ing forward to learn much from New I {South Wales’ exposition of the game. They hoped the visitors would find the Home countries had maintained a high standard of efficiency and cleanness, and trite amateurism. On landing the team were welcomed by the Mayor of Plymouth. Manager Wallace, interviewed, said that all was well. They were unable to do any Rugby training, but kept fit by exercises. The voyage was the happiest, exeeut for a few days’ seasickness at the beginning.
