SCHNEIDER CUP CHALLENGERS. LONDON, July 19. Experts are promised the opportunity shortly of seeing in flight three highspeed aeroplanes, the Crusader, the Gloster anil the super-marine eightyfive, with which the Air Ministry hopes to wrest from Italy the coveted Schneider Cup. It is hoped that the swiftest machine will have a maximum speed of three hundred miles per hour. CHINESE FELLED. MELBOURNE, July 4. Ben Yen, Chinese proprietor of the Shanghai Cafe at Mildura, was struck down from behind with an iron bar late on Monday night. His assailant, who was masked, escaped. Yen sustained serious injuries, and is not expected to recover. Pools of blood were found in the cafe and yard. No arrest has yet been made.
