WAIRARAPA BEAT WAIROA. (Per Press Assn.) WAIROA, July 9. After a fast and exciting game, both teams being fairly evenly matched, Wairarapa captured the Norden Cup from Wairoa (holders). In the first spell tiie winners netted three goals (got bv Gallon, ( ooper, and Goodwin) to the holders’ nil. The first goal was the result of offside play, and the third was due to obstruction am! sticks passing unnoticed by the Wairarapa referee, who showed a poor knowledge of the rules. Ln the second spell, Wairoa had easily the better of the play, T. Duley and Crawford netting goals. The game ended in favour of Wairarapa by ihi/e goals to two.
