A motion of condolence was passed to Air L. B. Miller, at the meeting of the Chamber of Commerce yesterday, expressing sympathy concerning his recent bereavement. She leaves two children. Her husband met his death accidentally in Greymouth about two years ago. Miss J. Lynch, who is about to be married, was on Wednesday presented with a sea grass chair and cushion, by the staff of Bevington’s Hotel. Miss Forsyth was later entertained at the residence of Aliss Al. Anderson, Puketahi Street, where a very pleasant afternoon was spent, with musical items and dancing.
