STATES ALL AGREED. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) MELBOURNE, June 19. At the Premiers ’ Conference, Mr Lang accepted the' Commonwealth road agreement, which provides building roads and Federal grants, involving an expenditure of £20,000,000, of Commonwealth funds, spread over ten years. After the meeting, which was in camera, Mr Bruce stated that now there was every prospect of a unanimous agreement to all the Commonwealth financial proposals, Mr Lang having indicated a willingness to give way on a number of important details. MELBOURNE, June 20. After the meeting of the Premiers’ Conference, Mr Bruce announced that all the States had carried a resolution that, subject to further and fuller consideration, the general principle of the Commonwealth’s financial scheme be affirmed, and that the Commonwealth prepare a formal agreement for submission to, and consideration by, the Federal and State Governments. Mr Bruce added that the Conference was in complete unanimity on all the proposals. »
