U.S.A. CHAMPIONSHIP. NEW YORK, June 16. At Oakmont, Armour and Coopei tied for first place in the National Open Golf Championship with 301. AUCKLAND LADIES’ CHAMPIONSHIP. AUCKLAND, June 17. The final of the Auckland Provincial Ladies’ Golf Championship was played to-day, and resulted in Mrs ShailerWeston (Wellington) defeating Mrs Dcighton (Auckland) by 7 and 6. Mrs Deighton was very much off form, and did not win a single hole. Mrs Weston, on the other hand, played excellently. Mrs Weston won seven holes, five were halved, and the match ended at the 12th hole with Mrs Weston 7 up and 6. REEFTON GOLF CLUBS. The following will be the opposing teams in the match to be played over 18 holes (match play) during the coming w-eek-end and up to Wednesday next by Reef ton Golf Club: —

Matches can be played on, any day up to and including Wednesday, 22nd inst. t GREYMOUTH GOLF CLUB.
