SPACER STANDS BY CLAIM. OFFERS TO DO IT AGAIN. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) (Received June 14 at 7.10 p.m.) PRAGUE, June 13. A mystery still surrounds the swimmer Spacck’s Channel swim. Spaced stated emphatically on Wednesday thal Jio had certainly established a record, .despite the attempt to discredit him. Spacek repeats his declaration that the Mayor of Dover was present when Hie lauded, and he is preparing an affidavit to that effect, but that if his •story is not accepted, he will repeat his swim next week.
