The funeral cortege was a long one, and I many people lined the streets, bareheaded, as it passed. . Requiem Mass was celebrated by Archbishop O’Shea, Monsignor AlcKenna assisting. There was an overflowing congregation. The musical part of the ceremony was carried out by St Patrick’s choir. An eloquent funeral oration, was delivered by Archbishop Redwood. At St Patrick’s Church yesterday morning the wedding was solemnised of Air William Burley, of the Greymouth Railway staff, to Miss Gloria Dean, of Waiuta, Nuptial Alass being celebrated by Rev.
