Air Bellamy’ is leaving Grey this morning for Christchurch. Mr E. Greenslade, of Christchurch, is at present visiting the Coast. Mr J. Galligan, who has been a patient in the Lewisham Hospital, Christchurch, for some time past, returned to Grey’ on Thursday. Rev W. Greenslade, who was recently transferred from Wellington to the East Belt Methodist Church, Christchurch, will arrive in Grey to-day. A London cable records the death of Colonel Robert Owen, who was in the war, the Commander of the Third Australian Battalion. It is understood that Air W. McDougall, of Marsden Road, will be a candidate for a seat on the Greymouth Borough Council. Bishop Brodie will arrive from Christchurch to-day. He will adminis-

Scantlebury (Nelson), who was for many years a resident of Reefton, has been visiting South Westland. She arrived in Greymouth yesterday, and is the guest of Air James Ring. Airs Scantlebury is accompanied on the tour by’ Air and Mrs Fethsom. The following are recent guests at Stonehurst, Latimer Square, Christchurch: Aliss I. Pratt and Aliss E. Leece, of Surrey, England; Airs and Aliss J. Aloir, of Cape Riche, West Australia; Mr. and Airs A. P. Raven, Ashburton, Air. D. M. Robertson, Greymouth, Air. Dahl, Wellington. A dance has been arranged and will take place at “Stonehurst” Latimer, Square, Christchurch, on Easter Saturday night. Alargaret Aliddleton’s Orchestra will supply the dance music.

Airs James Stevenson, who for many years, resided at Reefton, and who recently’ returned from Alelbourne, is at present on a visit to the West Coast, with a view to renewing old friendships. Airs Stevenson has been absent from the Coast fro about two years the greater portion of that time being spent in visiting Australia, and various parts of the Dominion. Airs Stevenson is at present staying with her son, Air. J. B. Stevenson, of Inangahua Junction.
