LONGEST RAILWAY.
TRANS-SIBERIAN LINE RE-OPENED. LONDON, January 11. The “Times” Riga correspondent states that the d\ixedt Riga-Vladivo-stok railway of 6800 miles, the world’s longest line, which ceased running ten years ago when the Germans captur ed Riga, is being resumed on January 17. under a Russo-Latvian agreement. There will be one journey weekly each way, occupying thirteen days.
