VICTORIAN ELECTRICAL DISPUTE. MELBOURNE, Dec. 8. A conference of the Trades Hall Disputes Committee and Electricity Commissioners failed to find a solution to the dispute existing at Yallourn. The proposals for settlement, submitted to the Conference, are to receive further consideration. It is hoped that negotiations will be resumed and a basis for settlement found. BRITISH COAT, EXPORTS TO RESUME. LONDON, Dee. 7. In the House of Commons, Colonel Lane-Fox (Secretary for Mines) announced that all restrictions on coal exports except on anthracite coal, will be withdrawn at midnight.
