SHEEP EXTRA GOOP TIMARU, October 28 The Timaru A. and P. Show to-day was marred by heavy rain. The entries totalled 1543 compared with I, last year. The quality of the stock all through was of a high stand, ard, the sheep Wing especially good. The Corrisdale and English Leicesteis were the best ever seen in a Timaru Show. The Rhodes Challenge Cup was won by Brackenfield Hunt. 'Cattle: Shorthorns.—bull and cow. H C Barton. Friesians: bull.—J. H Grigg; cow.—T Sheriff Jerseys: bull S Dale; cow, R. Maddren. The Holme Stallion Cup for the cow with the greatest quantity of butrei fat above the requirements for the certificate of record under the De partment of Agriculture was won by G T. Sherriff, with a Friesian cow whose yield was 32.599 lb. of milk and 754 lbs. of fat; being 421 lbs above requirements.
