WELLINGTON, July 23. Mr D C. Bates reports as follows: The present indications are for strong southwest to northwest winds northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and northerlies strong to gale elsewhere. with increasing cloud and haziness for a general change, rain following soon on the West Coast and in southern districts. The barometer is falling everywhere.
