AMUSEMENTS.

OPERA HOUSE TO-NIGHT. At the Opera House to-night, Harold Lloyd in his latest and gret test comedy “Why Worry,” will be shown again for the last time. Variety, originality, and ideas characterise the Harold Lloyd comedies. “A Sailormade Man” was adventure and romance, with Harold ns a rich young snlob. “Grandma’s Boy” is probably the only comedy of its kind ever produced. “Doctor Jack” combined a serious idea with comedy gags and thrills—a cross between “Grandma’s Boy” and “Safety Last.” “Why Worry” in like none of these, and yet it is typically Lloyd because Lloyds comedies are always funny, are always skilful, are always varied, and are always created out of au idea. WEDNESDAY. (WARNER BROS. CLASSIC—“ BEAU BRUMMEL. ’ ’ The Opera House management will present with pride on Wednesday and Thursday and matinee Wednesday John Barrymore, in “Beau Brummel,” the greatest of all romantic ramas, John Barrymore gives a vivid portrayal of the great dandy. He ds seen as the young Hussar and later as the leader of wit and fashion, and the idol of England’s most distinguished ladies. Near the end the Beai is in disgrace. His wealth is a thing of the past, he has to stint himself. It shows in the faintly etched lines, iSi the gaunt expression, the clothes, and the greystreaked thin hair. The Beau is on his last legs, demented ainl living out his past splendour in his little room in the hospital. Here J ohn Barrymore had to work all his imaginative resources to portray the lunatic, the man who grabs a hunk of bread and lams it down his throat, where years before he would have been the last word in fastidiousness and style.
