(Our own Correspondent). The usual fortnightly .Catholic social and euchre party was held on Thursday evening, and a large attendance was recorded. The prizes were won by Aliss Hunt and Miss May Kearns, and Messrs IT. Hampson and D. Scott. Mr 1). Roberts was M.C., and Aliss Farrell supplied the music. Nurse Codon, of the West port Hospital staff is spending her holidays in Reefton. I Air A. Panckhurst of the National Bank staff, is being transferred to j Wellington on promotion. There was a large attendanm* at the Excelsior Euchre tournament, which opened hero on Friday evening, the prizes being won by Messrs IL Hampson, J. Hunter ami Nie.olson.
