The wonderful characterisation of Lon Chancy as Quasimodo enthralled all who witnessed it. Superb is he in his demoniacal defence of his beloved Cathedral against the mob, while, his ultimate death is the height of tragedy. He L". well supported by a brilliant cast, and about, a thousand extras. As Elimcralda, the dance heroine, Patsy Ruth .Miller scores distinct success, and Norman Kerry, as Phoebus, makes a dashing soldier lover. The transfer of Victor Hugo’s masterpiece to the screen has been wolthily accomplished, and gives rise to all k'AJnan emotions. To-morrow evening the picture will be st 'wn at Blackball.
