A PRISON ESCAPEE. SYDNEY, June 22. At Darlinghurst Sessions, Terence O‘( onnor, aged 26, was sentenced to three years’ gaol on a charge of theft. The police slated O’Connor was in escapee from Wellington gaol butt,, although the New Zealand authorities desired his deportatii.u, they were not prepared to pay for ext raditjon. AN ACQUITTAL. LONDON, June 22. Papparys, whose trial was cabled on April 29th, was found not guilty and discharged.
