REEFTON NOTES

The wedding took place al St. Stephen’s Church on Wednesday afternoon of Norman Janies, Um third son of Mr John Dick, of Reefton, and Myrtle, eldest, daughter of Mr and Mrs Cate, of Upper Broadway. The bride was attired in a fawn braided costume, and fawn hat, with flame crown and streamers, and she carried a shower bouquet. She was attended l>v Mi<s Elva Cato and Miss Andry Dick, the former wearing •> grey gabarinc coat-frock braided, and mushroom hat. Miss Dick wore a white gabardine coat frock and white hat. Both carried pretty bouquets. Mr L. Walker was best man. The Rev. W. J. Blovce was the officiating clergyman. After the ceremony, the guests were entertained nt the residence of the bride’s parents, the newly married couple leaving by the afternoon train for Hokitifka where- the honeymoon will be spent. r Phe nmnv friends of Miss M. Shepherd. who underwent a serious operation al tin' Hospital on Monday, will be nleased to hear that she is making a good recovery. Mr A.
