ADDINGTON MARKET. At last sale entries were a little smaller than at the previous sale. •Some good quality fat sheep were penned, and for these values were well maintained, hut for poorer stuff there was not a keen demand, and consequently there was an casing of late rates. Only a few more than half last week’s yarding of fat lambs wore for. ward, and the quality ns a. whole was far from being satisfactory. Vabies showed decrease in consequence. A smaller yarding of cattle was forward than' was the case last week, and while the sale was satisfactory for best quality stuff, there was an easing in values so far as inferior cattle were concerned. The weather was bright and sunny, and there was a good alien dance of buyers. Store Shoop.—There was a small entry, chiefly of hoggets, with one draft nf particularly good ewes from the Kaikoura. Hoggets realised much better prices, and sales of them generally wore from Is Gd to 2s Gd a head '!»<>’ e late rates.
