SWORN IN NO RKD RUIN! SYDNEY, June L The Labour Ministry was sworn tn and Mr. Willis appointed to the i pper House to enable him to become Vice-President of the Executive Council. Mr. Lang, I’remier, interviewed, said no red ruin would follow Labour’s advent. They would not tolerate Bolshevism.. N.S.W. Parliament meets on June 24, and then adjourns for some weeks HIGHER EDUCATION MADE FREE SYDNEY, June IS. The first administrative act of the new Government was to abolish High School fees. Henceforth, education in High Schools will be free. Under the Fuller Government, parents m a position to do so were compelled to pay for their children’s education in these schools. N.S.W. CABINET COMMUTES DEATH SENTENCE. SYDNEY, June 18. Cabinet has commuted the death sentence on Mclnnes on the 9th. May for murder of a young woman to pen. al servitude for life.
