The authors of “Don’t Marry For Money." (Hope Loring and Louis Duryea Lighten), have taken for the principal protagonist of their story a smalltown girl, Marion Whitney (Rubye De Remer). brought up by her relative, (a nagging, narrow-minded old uncle), who believes the be.all and end-all of a girl’s life is to marry wealth, with the little matter of love and choice not figuring in his scheme. She runs nwav from this mercenary old miser and lands in New York, where she soon finds her uncle’s ideas are the prevailing ideal of nearly every one she meets.
