CASTING OF FUSION SHADOWS. FRIGHTENED OF LABOUR. NELSON. Juno 17. Mr IT. Atmore, M.P., addressed n crowded meeting at the Theatre Royal last evening. He dealt at length with tho political situation, stronglv urging the formation of a National Party. “Tt was not a. question of Reform going tn Liberal, or Liberal coming to Reform. ’i? said. Tho best men of both parries should get together to tight Socialism and promote national interests. . On Mi- Atmore’s motion, it was resolved. with one dissentient “That in the opinion of this meeting of Nelson Citizens, it is imperative in thc best interests of the Dominion that a National Barty and Government be formed. ” Mr Atmore was accorded a unanimous vote <’f thanks and confidence.
