(Received June .17 at 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, June 16. ’ The Eastbourne Tennis match is be- ' ing played between Britain and America at Wimbledon on Davis Cup lines—four games of singles and one of doubles. The first day’s play resulted: Casey (American) beat Wheatley 6/0, 6/1, 6/3. Gilbert (Britain) beat Hennesey 6/2, 6/3, 7/5.
