Another plug of gelignite was found on the roof of a shop two doors from Duuean’s premises. The detectives are now certain that there was a fire before the recent: explosion. The Chief of Police, Mr Nicholson, referring to the outrage, said that Victoria was becoming known as the criminal state of Australia. Ho added that unless the laws were tightened up, something very serious would happen.
