BULGAR CRISIS
THIRD INTERNATIONAL BLAMED SOFIA, April 2.1. The. Prime Minister, M. Zankoff, in an interview, said the Third International, with which the Russian Government was co-operating, after unsuccessful attempts to Bolshevist: Western and Central Europe, had concentrated its activities on the Balkans, especially Bulgaria, which it regarded as a most suitable base for further destructive operations, because it was disarmed and exhausted by wars. Having failed to foment a revolution, they had organised individual murders, and planned the Cathedral outrage to destroy the ministers and notables with a view to spreading anarchy throughout the Balkans. The Government was taking the strongest preventative measures.
