We had a big flood doAvn here last Friday, and most of the approaches on the various bridges received damage. The Public Works Department arc going to have a lot of trouble Avith this bridge, also the approaches. The genial Con Herlihy is busy milking again, and is ploughing about ! 20 acres, to be laid down in grass ami ' oats for the coming Avinter. It is n I pity other settlers on this flat don’t ' follow in his footsteps. Mr 11. 11.
