Quite a lot of eounterfi it coin was found on the premises where accused was arrested. He ted having freely circulated counterfeit coin about the city. The charge was laid under a section of the Crimes Act which made a person convicted liable to life imprisonment. Air Boynton, S.M., fixed the bail at £lOOO.
