A cable from Londou states that the Duke of Aork has gone to Roumania to represent the King and Queen at King Ferdinand’s coronation. A New York cable states that William Hart, the movie actor has been pronounced out of danger after his serious illness. Our Reefton correspondent writes: I have it from the best of authority that Air D. Panekhnrst will contest the vacant seat on the Inangahua Count v Council for the Reefton Riding, caused through the death of Mr Irving. Mr J. Wafer, of Aratika, was injured on Monday evening through a fall ii. the dark while walking along the railway line towards Moana. He tripped and struck his head heavily on the iron rail. He was in a bad condition when found, but was quickly conveyed to Moana Hotel where he received treatment. Shortly after midniglr haemorrhage set in. Yesterday a doctor arrived from Otira, and later it was reported that the sufferer was out of danger.
