RAILWAY ACCIDENT.
YOUNG WOMAN SUCCUMBS. TE KUITI, July 21. The young woman, Gladys Howarth, who was picked up on the railway line near Te Kumi yesterday morning, suffering severe injuries to the head and face, succumbed ut four o’clock this morning. Deceased had been suffering from insomnia and was under treatment of a doctor. It is believed the woman left Tr Kuiti early yesterday morning and being extremely hard of hearing was unaware of the approach of the train.
