(Our Own Correspondent.) < Miss I). Sattcrthwaito, of Ttunanga, Iby Saturday morning’s express 'ror Christchurch on a holiday visit. Mr Phil Stewart has returned after a month’s holiday spent in his. native Land, Victoria. The League football match between Nelson Creek and Ruimnga juniors drew a very large attendance last. Sunday at the Seven Mile. Visitors were present from all parts. Nelson Creek were too good for our boys and won comfortably. The Punanga Municipal Band, under Bandmaster E. Franklyn, gave a programme at the seaside 1 (Itrpahoe) on Sunday last. The playing of the band was greatly admired and swelled the attendance at the League football match.
