He wished her a very pleasant time in her new surroundings and trusted that both All - j McLean and herself would prosper in their new undertaking. Mr C. R. He took the wrong train from the course and when after going some distance he noticed his mistake, he was com polled to requisition the services ot a taxi to return. The sport naturally did it hard and decided to watch the placards on the trains more closely next time. The euchre ami dance promoted by the headmaster of the District High School (Mr Goody er) and his teaching staff, for raising funds to take a team of school boys to take part in a series of matches to be held at Hokitika and Greymouth in September, proved a great success.
