WIMBLEDON MATCHES. LONDON. July 7. Mrs Mallory beat Mrs Beamish 6 —2, Mdlle Lenglen heat Airs Peacock, 6—o, 6—l. At seven p.m. despite 2h hours delay, owing to heavy rain, the crowd shouted 'for the Patterson-Anderson match, but it was officially announced that it was over late for such an important five-set match. Instead, the semi-final between Airs Bcsmish, and Airs Mallory was played, the latter winning.
